"Open and Fill" doesn't work
The "Open and Fill" button (on website fields) doesn't work if the URL is a domain only (e.g. "https://login.apple.com%22), but works if the URL contains a path (e.g. "https://login.apple.com/login%22).
When I say "doesn't work" I mean that you can click on that URL/button, but nothing happens.

Hi folks!
We're aware of an issue with Open & Fill in the Early Access build. We're tracking this problem internally as dev/core/core#9174. Hopefully we'll be able to implement a fix soon. 🤞

1Password 8 is currently an Early Access preview, which means not everything is done, and there will be bugs. If you're looking for a more stable experience I'd recommend sticking with 1Password 7 for now. 😄

I agree this is a step backward. The new shortcuts do not work as expected. I can no longer use the shortcut, type the website, hit enter, and have it open the website and fill in the password. Beyond me why they would change this behavior. For the first time, I may be looking at other password managers.
