Favicons aren't being displayed for certain websites

Favicons aren't being displayed for the following website logins (some of those are NSFW and are listed in a separate list below):

  • currency.com
  • app.cercube.com
  • yclients.com-based domains
  • delivio.by
  • mila.by
  • markformelle.by
  • 7745.by
  • ikeacity.by
  • aikea.by
  • protera.by

NSFW websites:

  • bdsmpeople.club
  • thebestflex.com
  • hornet.com

All of these display a favicon in a browser tab when visited via a browser (Chrome in my case).

This behavior is consistent between

  • iPadOS (7.7.6 and earlier),
  • Android (7.7.7 and earlier),
  • Windows (8.1.2-82.BETA and earlier) and
  • Chrome extension (2.0.5 and earlier) clients.
