This clearly was an intern making a mistake however how NO ONE from the dev team or marketing caught this is a little suspicious. I mean roustem said himself he's been beta testing 1P8 for over a year so everyone in the company knew what was about to be launched.
So as much as I want to defend them on this one. It's pretty sketchy, the tweet this was in reply to directly asked if they were making an electron app. I mean, mistake or not it looks like straight up lies.

They don’t have anything to gain by lying on twitter, quite the opposite. This was clearly a mistake, but it still hurts.
