I'm looking forward to V8

You guys provide a service that operates in the insanely difficult intersection of perfect security, flawless availability, unquestionable durability, and great usability for everyone from middle school students to grandmothers to software engineers to corporate executives to info security experts
You do it across five or more platforms
I have hundreds of corporate users at a software development company that are very happy with the functionality you provide on Mac and Win and Linux and Web
I don't know how I would send my kids to college comfortably without your family functionality & they feel the same way
Virtually the only material complaint I have ever had is that it sometimes takes you longer to make changes to fix or improve obvious shortcomings than we would like - in other words - your ability to move fast without compromising on all of the difficult intangible constraints mentioned above is not ideal
So I am 100% in favor of the simplifications and evolution of your client architecture, the closer ties to 1password.com, the elimination of local vaults - and everything else you are doing to focus your efforts on the core value you deliver while eliminating the legacy functionality that's holding you back
I say this as a Mac user & fully expect your Mac experience will remain good across this transition and accelerate its improvement as you simplify the demands on your teams

Weird that 1Password continues to approve threads like this but refuses to approve my constructive and detailed post titled "Delay 1Password 8 at least 6 months"
You all are astroturfing to control the narrative.

@FCNV - I saw your post here. I haven’t check it, but I think when this forum software holds a post for review, and then posts it, it doesn’t go to the top of the list, but rather is set with the time you initially submitted it. That can make moderated posts get lost/buried in the flow of other posts that come out between the time of initial submission and the time of approval.
