Constant CPU load after updating 1PW8

I noticed this when I first installed 1PW 8 on both Windows 10 and macOS 11 and noticed it again today when I used the built-in updater to install version 8.2.2-57:
Sometimes 1PW8 causes a constant 4-5% CPU load while running unlocked in the background. Unfortunately, this CPU load does not go away on its own, and I have to fully quit 1PW8 first and restart it again. Afterward, the app does not cause any noticeable load, and I am happy again. :)
I am not sure if this is a bug in the first-run logic of 1PW8 or if the updater starts the new version in some weird way, but it might impact the first impression for some users once 1PW8 gets a stable release.
