Edge extension no longer auto signs in

in Desktop betas (Mac, Windows, and Linux)

I guess either the desktop app and/or the extension was updated over the weekend, but since then, the Edge extension requires me to sign in to it every launch even when signed in to the desktop app. The Chrome extension continues to auto sign in correctly.
