Safari opens/opens in front together with 1password

in Desktop betas (Mac, Windows, and Linux)

When opening 1Password it also opens Safari or it puts Safari in front of all other apps.
I haven't seen any other reports on this but it consistently happens to me.

  1. Is this happening to anybody else?
  2. Is there any fix or even workaround for this?

    Yeah – I've been wondering what it was but it's been happening to me too!

    I thought it was the Beta version of 1Password and the Safari I was using

    Hi @sajoku and @krislane, thank you for letting us know about this.

    We are aware of an issue where Safari will bring itself to the foreground when 1Password 8 sends a message to the browser extension (for example, when 1Password 8 tells the browser extension to unlock).

    We are working with Apple to find a fix.
