Mac OS Big Sur 2 x 1Password versions
Hi jus started a using Macbook with Big Sur and the M1 CPU. I seem to have installed on my system 1 Password7 and 1 Password for Safari, do I need to have both of these? Or is the safari version just the extensions for Safari.
A little confused thanks for any help

1Password 7 is the 1Password for Mac app itself whereas 1Password for Safari is the new version of 1Password in the browser that is designed to work together with 1Password 8.
1Password 7 already includes an integrated extension for Safari so you can remove 1Password for Safari and then enable the integrated extension using this guide:
If you don't see the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar
