1PW now just like apple keychain - lost security?

I’ve installed latest iOS 15 on iPad and iPhone and latest 1PW. With the safari extension enabled I’m no longer asked for a finger print or password to open and fill from 1PW, just like using keychain. Somehow not even asking to unlock 1PW but just keeping it unlocked seems less secure than asking for a finger print to open. What am I missing here?
