Hello, I recently noticed that a lot of login forms were no longer showing the 1Password drop-down to select a credential. I believe it is related to this change referenced in the title. Simply put, I prefer the browser extension to select credentials for logging in. It handles OTP codes faster and easier than the system autofill in iOS/iPadOS. Instead, using the system autofill requires extra taps, needlessly populates the clipboard with OTP codes, and generates notifications about the OTP being copied to the clipboard that I'm frequently needing to dismiss. I'm not sure if this is something that can be made optional in the browser extension settings, but I strongly dislike this new behavior and hope that it will be reverted to the previous behavior, or at least made optional. Thank you.Solved32Views0likes3CommentsSearch bar on home screen
I've seen a number of features requests to bring back the search bar to the home screen on iOS, some dating back three years. Is there an update on this? I usually use search to find entries, and being able to do so straight from the home screen world be great, rather than having to go to the search tab first.12Views0likes1CommentHigh background usage on iOS 26
Ever since I got my new iPhone 17 I'm seeing daily hours and hours of background activity from 1password, and it seems more people are suffering from the same issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/1Password/comments/1o6g8fu/high_1password_background_activity_ios_26/ Just yesterday, 1password ran for 7 hours in the background and use 6% of my total battery, with just 1 minute of actual screen time. Today it was 6% on 3 hours of background time, again with no screen time. I'm using 8.11.14. I have also tried disabling background refresh and the safari extension as some people on Reddit suggested, to no help at all. And no, I'm not setting up 1password anywhere else, this is happening for weeks now. Is this being investigated by the 1Password team at all? I haven't seen anything. If it continues it will surely encourage me to start the painful migration to somewhere else. I have tried emailling support but got no answer. On Reddit everyone is lost.1.9KViews1like30CommentsAccount still frozen even subscribed
My account has once had 14-day trial, and it was frozen for a period of time. Today I decided to pay monthly and see, and the transaction was done on App Store. However, nothing has changed and my account is still frozen. When I go to the account, the status is still showing “frozen” and ask me to “subscribe”. Tapping on the monthly option brings up the pop up that I paid already. Meanwhile, I haven’t seen any emails of the receipt from Apple, or that from 1Password showing I have upgraded. I have emailed to the support and my support ticket ID is 551416. I hope it can be resolved as soon as possible instead of paying for a month but ending up not being able to use your services.32Views0likes1CommentWe weren’t able to sign in to your account. Maybe there’s a typo?
I made a 1pass account a few days ago and was unfortunately met with the message "We weren’t able to sign in to your account. Maybe there’s a typo?" when attempting to sign into the desktop version. I am unable to sign in on the web or my phone as well. I know that the password I am using is 100% correct as well as the secret key. I am not on a VPN and there is nothing else on my network that is blocking it. I tried reaching out to mailto:support@1password.com but have yet to get a reply. I would like to be able to log in and preferably use the 1password service as everything I have heard about it has been positive. Or at the very least cancel my subscription but I am unable to do either.47Views0likes4CommentsFeature request: Compact view on iPad?
Hi There, Have just upgraded to v8 but find myself constantly scrolling because of the excessive spacing - even on an iPad Pro. The desktop version has a compact mode, where is that setting on iPad? I saw a post where the 1PW box covers the MacOS prompt, but I seem to have the reverse issue. Haven't seen this issue in other posts, pardon if I missed it. There doesn't seem to be a way to avoid the overlapping selection boxes. I'm running Mac OS 15.6. Any ideas or is this one for the suggestion box? Can we select where the selection box appears in relation to the input box?45Views0likes3CommentsiOS Safari extension cannot connect to app
Recently the Safari extension on my iPhone stopped working. I am unable to sign in with my master password or Face ID, which both work just fine in the 1Password app. I also get an error message saying it cannot connect to the app. I've tried all of the troubleshooting steps I could find, including: Clearing the browser cache Force quitting both apps and signing into the 1Password app before trying the extension Uninstalling and reinstalling 1Password Restarting my iPhone Toggling various 1Password security settings Disabling and re-enabling the extension I am on the latest version of the 1Password app and iOS 26.4 Public Beta. Any ideas how I can get this to work again? Is it an issue with the iOS beta version? Thanks!Solved1KViews2likes36CommentsFastmail masked email creation in iOS app
There is too much friction when you need to create a new login for an iOS app (not website) and want a masked email for the username. I understand iOS restrictions make this difficult but I should be able to open the 1pw app and have a button to generate new app login with new masked email and new generated password 1Password Version: Not Provided Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: Not Provided Browser: Not Provided428Views2likes6CommentsExpiry date
I had suggested to have an option for expiry date so the app can alert to change the password. This has been implemented and I'm happy. Well the thing is it gives options to alert before a date. If the date of expiry or time to change is known then it's fine like in case of driving license or passport etc. For login passwords it's after a month or 2 or after 90 days or 180 days. So it would be great to have this option updated.528Views0likes16Comments
