Messages - how do I delete without opening

I seem to have been the recipient of a number of messages sent to my id that look like potential spam. In any case I don't want to open them. How can I punt them all?

There doesn't appear to be a way to delete messages outside of viewing their contents. Please be sure to report them, though. You can send the usernames and contents to me in a private message.
