Date modified is always the same for all entries

The displayed date modified sticks to the date modified of the first item you click after choosing a vault or a view or a tag.

start 1Password
click on "all objects"
click on some entry and note the date modified field
click other entries. They all have the same date modified you found in that entry.

1Password Version: 8.4.0.28
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: Windows 10
