iOS 14 Safari share sheet has disappeared

Hi there. This issue has https://1password.community/discussion/119570/ios-share-sheet-1pw-extension-is-missing but before I get my partner to un/re-install 1Password I thought I’d check this isn’t deliberate, given the move to the new 1Password extension on iOS 15.

Basically she’s still on iOS 14, and the 1Password share sheet has disappeared from Safari. That’s … it! Cheers.

Without this functionality, 1Password is at times almost unusable. For instance, there are sites which, when you’re entering credit card information, delete all fields when you switch out of Safari and back in, so that it’s extremely difficult to enter both credit card and verification number by switching back and forth to 1Password.

Why remove functionality and harm users who haven’t upgraded? Just make an iOS 15-only version.

Aaargh. That is really, really frustrating. There are situations where the keyboard option is not available. Having to this all manually is really a pain. Why remove valuable functionality? If necessary, make the new version iOS 15-only, but allow those with earlier OS's to keep valuable functionality. This is unlike Agilebits, to regress functionality.

I suspected as much. Thanks for the information.

Just FYI there’s a bunch of information that she was getting out of 1P that wasn’t passwords, but I’ll show her how to use iOS’ slide-in-from-the-side multitasking instead.

    Hi @johnnynoble!

The share sheet extension has been removed from the latest version of the 1Password app on iOS. It has been replaced by the Autofill feature:

Alternatively, as you mentioned, if you are on iOS 15 you also have the option to use the new Safari extension:
