I'm having some trouble replicating the behaviour you mentioned in Safari. What are the exact steps you are taking to autofill in Safari, and what response you are getting? Do you have more than one Login saved for the site where you're attempting to autofill? Can you confirm that your'e running the latest version of 1Password for Safari? Your initial inbound message indicated you're on version 2.1.3, and the latest version is 2.1.4.

For Firefox, ⌘\ is already reserved for a different Firefox function. If you use ⌘. (command + period) - does it work as expected in Firefox?

i'm using command-\, and nothing is happening.
    it says i'm running 2.1.4.
nothing seems to happen at all when i hit command-\ or command-period in safari.
command-period in firefox is working but oh, boy, having different shortcuts is going to become a problem, and command-period in particular, as it is has been used in other places on macs for 35 years as a shortcut for canceling an operation...
