If it's the main app that is crashing, perhaps the browser extension might be unrelated. Did you see any improvements after you installed the extension from scratch?

In my case - it is crashing in the background.

But I did bring over the firefox ext from another computer. So I just deleted the old ext. and re added as new. do you think this may help?

I'm sorry to hear you're running into issues with 1Password crashing. We're currently investigating an issue where searching and then using a keyboard shortcut may cause issues. Is that what you're experiencing? If so, 1Password for Mac 7.9.2 currently in beta has a fix for this issue. If you'd like to use the beta, follow these steps: Use 1Password beta releases

If this isn't what's causing 1Password for Mac to crash, let me know, and I'll be happy to investigate further.
