Since the new version 8.11.22 and the current Chrome version 143.0.7499.147 (MacOS Tahoe 26.2), I have been experiencing an issue with internal http websites (e.g. Grafana) where 1Password does not fill in the user name or password; the option is simply missing from the login fields. Is there currently a problem? br Richard92Views2likes9CommentsSafari-extension not working on self hosted app
Hi! I'm running a little home server with an instance of https://patchmon.net (among other self hosted apps). For some reason, the Safari extension does not propose an auto-fill of my login credentials (which are correctly stored in 1P. My system is up to date (macOS 26.2, latest 1P and latest extension. Any idea how to fix that? Thanks!89Views2likes5CommentsAbility to use Sign in With ANY type of login
It would be really helpful if there was a way to use the Sign in With option with ANY type of login entry - not just Google, Amazon, X, Microsoft, and a couple of others. If I have entries for various internal resources that all use the same login credentials, it would be nice to point them all to a single login entry and then only have to update that single point to inherently update all of the ones using it.6Views0likes0CommentsSyncing issues on Macbook
Hi all. I have had a Macbook Air for years and for as long as I had it I have had issues with 1Password and not seeing the latest changes made on other devices. Locking and unlocking the vault always pulled the latest changes or updating/restarting the program. It was annoying but I had a workaround, at one point when I was using the Macbook more often I submitted a ticket to support who looked into and suggested it was maybe a network profile or something similar affecting it. I put the problem in the too hard basket and moved on. Recently I got a new Macbook Pro and elected not to move from my existing Macbook Air with the wizard or a time machine backup. I wanted to start fresh and I also wanted to lose whatever was causing me that annoyance for years with 1P and Macos on my Macbook Air The new Macbook Pro has the same "bug". I daily drive a Mac Mini which doesn't have the issue ever. Logically my theory is it must be power related, something 1P or MacOS do with syncing when its detected that its on battery power maybe? I don't have this issue on Windows, MacOS (Mac Mini) or and iOS based devices, only the Macbook. Is it possible something in 1P or MacOS is pausing or preventing updates in an effort to save battery life?37Views0likes6CommentsFeature Request: Show Original Contributor of Items in Shared Family Vaults
Summary Please add a built-in way to display who originally created or contributed an item to a shared vault in 1Password Family. Problem In shared family vaults, it is currently not possible to see who an item originally belongs to once it has been shared. This makes it unclear who owns a specific account, even though the item is visible to everyone in the family. As a workaround, we manually add tags with the name of the person who created or contributed the item. This allows sorting and filtering by owner, but it is manual, error-prone, and easy to forget. Proposed Feature Display non-editable metadata such as: “Contributed by: Name” or “Original owner: Name” This information should remain visible in the item details after sharing or moving an item into a shared family vault. Benefit This makes it easy to understand who an account actually belongs to, even when it is shared for convenience. It improves clarity in family vaults, avoids confusion, and removes the need for manual tagging. Reference Apple Passwords already shows this information for shared items using labels like “Contributed by: Name”, which provides clear ownership at a glance.18Views2likes3CommentsHTTP Basic Auth autofill should be capable of filling on load (maybe normal logins too?)
At work, we use a site that relies on an HTTP basic authentication dialog. My colleagues and I need to access this site multiple times a day, every day. Having to open 1Password and manually click “Autofill” each time quickly becomes frustrating, especially since there’s an additional login screen and 2FA on top of that. While I don’t think this should be enabled by default, I do believe the option should at least be available. More generally, this would be a nice QOA improvement regardless of whether HTTP basic auth is involved. If I’m already on a login page after explicitly clicking a button, I don't get why I should still have to manually select my account. Just something to think about 🙂24Views0likes0CommentsPasskey autofill behavior on Crewbloom login (Safari + 1Password)
Hi everyone, I'm seeing some odd behavior with 1Password on Crew Bloom. Basically, this is our staffing & remote hiring platform, by the way! I wanted to check if anyone else has run into this. On Safari (macOS) with the 1Password extension, Passkey or autofill prompts seem to trigger repeatedly when navigating between pages, not just on the login screen. In some cases, autofill doesn't appear at all unless I refresh the page. Is this something related to how CrewBloom implements authentication, or could it be an extension/Safari interaction issue? Curious if others have seen similar behavior on recruiting or HR platforms. Thanks in advance!25Views0likes1CommentLogin icons not showing after an import
Hi, I have an existing vault where my icons for all my login items show, everything is fine etc. However I've created a new vault and have imported from bitwarden a large amount of entries. Even though I have 'Show app and website icons' selected, none of the icons for the imported sites show (just the default first and second letter. If I then go into one of these imports and remove the part of the website URL and add back, the icon then appears. So its as if its not triggering to look these up on import. I've tried production and nightly build but both the same result. Anyway to force an icon lookup for a vault, or to fix the import issue? Keen to move some family members over to a subscription plan, but obviously the nice to look at bit will become the most important part!Solved25Views0likes3CommentsMerging Duplicates
I know that the general response is to manually do this, but doing this with 1000+ objects is impractical to say the least. Some were created because when I migrated to 1Password, some duplicate/corrupt entries already existed in my profiles on Avast, Google, etc, which I did not notice at the time. Unfortunately, some have been created since then by either less tech-savvy family members on their own accounts or how 1Password is asking more often regarding site/app trust & permissions ("Allow fill once") and is thus creating duplicates of its own accord. The fact that merging wasn't already added a while back, considering how many people have asked about it over the years, is interesting to say the least. And yes, I have been attempting to create my own tool for quite some time, but it is difficult to find time to work on it lately, on top of not being successful in general.15Views0likes1Comment
