1Password bug in Firefox?
I'm running Firefox 149 on macOS Tahoe (version 26.4). 1Password extension version is 8.12.4.46. I've reported this via the help function, but I wanted to see if this is reproducible for anyone else in the community. The 1Password extension for Firefox is not jumping to "Suggestions" in certain cases. It seems that the problem occurs when the login window is an overlay of the main website. For example, if you go to the Northwestern Mutual website (nm.com), and click "Login", a login window overlays the main window. That's where the problem occurs, and 1Password for Firefox defaults to the "Favorites" and not "Suggestions". It's almost as if it cannot tell that it's on the Northwestern Mutual site. If you search for that site in the extension search box, it will find it, but nothing happens when you click the "Autofill" button. Anyone else seeing this? Thanks. Rich
Native Password AutoFill Extension macOS
So one of the people in my family subscription for 1P relies heavily on iCloud Keychain. The nice piece about using the native autofill extension is entries from both show up together in-line. This happens on iOS (or if you use other password managers it secure by each provider but both are offered the same way together). in terms of migration and allowing those who wish to use both depending on the context. It would be nice to support the native autofill extension, but further it limits exposure or need for safari extension. Should someone not want to use or can't install the extension due to work policy or just rather not use safari extensions thanks. 1Password Version: 8.x Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: macOS 12.6 Browser:_ Safari
BUG: Keyboard shortcuts seem to be broken/inverted on MacOS
Problem When not logged into 1Password, and the cursor is in an INPUT field on a page, pressing just the Down Arrow causes the 1Password prompt box to appear. Root Cause For whatever reason, and only on MacOS, the extension appears to be incorrectly detecting the Command key press state (the actual shortcut is Command + Down Arrow, not just Down Arrow, to "Open or close the category menu."). If you hold Command and press Down Arrow, nothing happens (which is not the expected behavior). Workaround (until 1Password fixes it) Log into the extension. The bug seems to only affect it when not logged in, for whatever reason. macOS Sequoia 15.4 1Password for Mac 8.10.70 1Password extension for Edge, Version 8.10.70.27 Microsoft Edge Version 135.0.3179.54 (Official build) (arm64) Autofill / Universal Autofill no longer works! 🥲 CMD \ no longer works - it just brings up Quick Access. Nothing's been changed in any settings - Autofill is still enabled, CMD \ is still enabled, etc.
