Safari Extension disappeared (and I can't re-add it)
I had the extension working but one day noticed it was gone from the toolbar. I downloaded it again from the Mac App Store, and when I open it, it tells me to open Safari Preferences and enable it, but it isn't there to enable.
I finally gave up trying and tried to remove the beta and start over, but I simply cannot quit 1Password. Using control-option doesn't give me "quit 1Password completely", and when I quit anyway and try to delete the app it says it's still open and won't let me proceed.
What should my next step be?
1Password Version: 8.4.0 80400052, on NIGHTLY channel
Extension Version: 2.1.3 (20184)
OS Version: 12.0.1

Hi @nosillacast, thank you for bringing this up. I'm sorry to hear of the strangeness with this issue!
It'd be great to connect you with our specialists to get this resolved. If you can send a quick email with a link to this (admirably descriptive) post to support+mac@1Password.com, the team will be happy to help get to the root of this issue.
Again, our apologies for the disruption! We hope to make this right for you.

I just realized it would probably be a good community service if I posted the solution that Dave W from support gave me):
- Close all open web browsers.
- Open Terminal on your Mac: Open or quit Terminal on Mac - Apple Support (CA)
- Paste the following into Terminal and then press enter: /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Support/lsregister -f -R /Applications/Safari.app
- Open Safari and try to enable 1Password for Safari again.
It worked a champ.
