Apple Watch app won’t open

Version 8.1 on Apple Watch will not open. App on the Apple Watch reads “Add items from 1 Password on your iPhone” and on bottom of screen it says “Requires Apple Watch Passcode.” This appears to be a bug. Has anyone else come across this and is there a fix?
