How to drag and drop and app onto 1Password 8 to add a new Software License

I often drag and drop apps onto the 1Password 7 app (either the dock icon or app window) and I've noticed that 1Password 8 seems to have lost this functionality. Any chance this can be restored? This seems like a pretty significant regression.
