Safari and Chrome settings aren't the same, and some frustrations

I had zero idea Command Shift X brought up the 1Password extension in Safari until I happened to look at the settings in Chrome.

1- Can you all add this setting (and modifiable) in Safari?

And regarding this beta:

I know developers have their processes,, but I can't help but feel that this is a re-rewrite instead of an upgrade. My productivity with the beta has gone down significantly- things don't flow as well, and some settings, are just simply missing.

I've experienced a lot of frustration using the beta and the only reason I am still using it is because I am concerned that future versions will not be as good as version 7, and what do I do at that point? Continue paying for a subscription and staying with an old version of 1Password? I've been using 1Password for a while- the oldest receipt I can find is from November 06, 2007.

Besides the keychain debacle back in the day, it's been mostly smooth sailing. Can someone shed some insight as to what the goals are for version 8?
