For sure. I'd love to see us build that out.
Just to confirm: these items are all in the same vault, and you don't have a vault called "Primary," is that correct? If you have a Primary vault still that should be removed, and would likely help clean up a lot of duplicates by doing so. If you do find you have a Primary vault still I'd like to put you in touch with our migration specialists. They can be reached at
support@1password.com. Please include a link to this thread https://1password.community/discussion/125613/in-tools-my-clean-duplicates-is-greyed-out-how-to-fix and mention you have a Primary vault that needs cleaning up. :+1:Ben

That would be helpful! Many of the entries are “imported” from1P. 6 and not caught .
I can search for import but I don't trust the result - 1P_Ben

The tool is rather particular about what it considers a duplicate, and will only return exact matches I'm afraid. If there are any differences in the items, they will not be picked up by the tool. Hopefully in the future we can expand this feature such that it is helpful in finding other similar items that aren't exact duplicates.

Thank you - that fixes one problem but it returns "no duplicates" where clearly there are many

@ssachs2,
If your currently selected vault is 'All Vaults' then that would be why its disabled, clean up duplicates only operates on items in a single vault at a time.
