Provide 1Password 8 macOS universal app

Currently on my Mac, only 1Password 8 and Spotify provide Intel version and Apple silicon packaging respectively, and other apps are distributed using universal binary. Coincidentally, both are Electron apps. But I also saw that the Electron official website provides universal packaging support (electron/universal). Therefore, the reason for not adopting universal distribution is simply because the installation package will increase in size?
