Hey @mangasgruel ,
What happens if you press CMD+\ (Command+backslash) when you're on the webpage? Does it autofill your credentials or does nothing happen?0 -
Hi
I use a different shortcut combination, but in most of the cases (80%) nothing happens. To stress that functionality does work for some sites, but not for the majority of them. 1Password 7 did work for those sites.

Thanks for the info @mangasgruel ,
To clarify how that shortcut works - if you have an existing login entry for the website you're visiting, pressing the autofill shortcut will autofill the fields. If you have more than one login entry for that website, then instead of autofilling it will show the autofill suggestions under the username/password field, allowing you to select the relevant login entry you want.
It is important to note that the autofill shortcut will only work if the 1Password desktop app is integrated with the extension. If the integration is off or if it is broken, the shortcut won't work. To check if the integration is working or not, simply lock or unlock the desktop app and see if the extension locks/unlocks with it simultaneously.

I am aware of behavior you described above. It worked properly with 1Password 7 but not with 8.

Can you please try right-clicking the 1Password icon in your Mac's menu bar (where the clock is) and select "Quit", then relaunch both your browser and the 1Password desktop app, see if that improves things?
If that didn't help, can you please test this:
1. Go to https://fill.dev/form/login-simple
2. Type in made-up credentials (e.g. TestUser and StrongPassword123), then save it as a new login.
3. Refresh the page and test the autofilling shortcut, see if it works as expected. Feel free to test it as many times and in any way you'd like.Let us know how that goes.
