Do I need to Delete Mac 7 vers If I Downloaded Mac 8.5 Beta

Have been using families in version 7 on Mac and all devices. It all works fine. I recently downloaded the Mac 8.5 version from the email I received. It also is working fine and I love the new look and feel. I am however getting some conflicts meaning sometimes I am getting suggestions at sign in screens on Safari that take me to 1Password.com and other times it is the new Mac version or even the older version 7 I still have on Mac. Do I need to delete the older app? I have both browser extension in tool bar as well. Thoughts or help would be appreciated.

1Password Version: Mac 8.5.0
Extension Version: I have 2.1 and 7.9.2
OS Version: Catalina 10.15.7

    @drohr:

    Deleting the old app is not mandatory, but if you are only using 1Password 8, there is no need to keep both and risking interference, so you are free to move 1Password 7 to the trash :+1:
