URLs not clickable (if not starting with http)
Hi Team 1Password
This "feature" seems to be new, after switching to 1Password 8 Beta (don't have 7 installed anymore, but I'm fairly sure URLs used to work) š ļø
If I have a URL deep-linking to another app, it's not clickable, it just copies the url the clipboard.
Would it be possible to make all URL-fields clickable?
I also tried to embed links in the markdown notes with [ ] ( ) - that didn't work either if it is not starting with http
In-app links between apps is a pretty big deal of my workflow, so I hope this can be worked on in a later version šļø

Hi @danielbahl, thanks for your question.
I've talked with our security specialists about this, and as it happens, this decision not to allow links to be clickable unless they begin with http or https is intentional. In part, it's meant to prevent situations where a malicious URL in a shared item might be used to execute commands on your system.
However, your use case here makes sense, so we'll take another pass at this to see if there might be a way we can strike a better balance. Thanks for prompting us to review this one!

I had a similar request a little while back.
It worked great in 1Password 7 and I was using it, mostly for activation links to register apps.
Now I have to copy the link and paste in Safari to get it to trigger the automatic activation.
Safari prompts me every time to ask whether sending the data to the app is OK, If you are worried about malicious links, you could have something similar in 1Password 8.Corentin

That could possibly be an approach here. :+1:
