Feature request: change page target for beta notes link
When I click the badge on the 1Password beta ladybug to see the update/news info, it takes me to https://releases.1password.com/mac/beta/. The top of this page tells me that the beta is available. This is great info, but not applicable to me because I'm already using the beta.
The Beta web page actually has a link target: https://releases.1password.com/mac/beta/#whats-new that goes to the real new content. Would it be possible for the beta update to link to THAT instead of the bare URL (top of the page)?
Alternatively (or in addition?), the Beta web page has a headline at the top: "UPDATED TO 8.5.0-83 ON JANUARY 11 2022" -- could that also be clickable and go to https://releases.1password.com/mac/beta/#whats-new too?
I know this is ultimately a me problem because I get irritated by badges, but it would be more rewarding for me to see the content I really want instead of having to scroll past the beta install instructions every time.
Thanks!

Hey @mfisher911
Thanks for bringing this up. I see we had noted that as part of a larger issue, and it looks like the issue got closed out without that bit being addressed. I've re-opened it in hopes we can figure something out in this regard. Thanks!

Hello @mfisher911 , I have a good news for you!
I have updated the path for
what is new
in lady bug menu, please try the upcoming releases. Thanks for helping us making the app better. :)

@ag_maryam this didn't seem to change in the latest nightly build (80500098, on NIGHTLY channel). When I open the What's New link in the 🐞 menu, it still pulls up this link:
https://releases.1password.com/mac/early-access/
...which redirects here:
https://releases.1password.com/mac/beta/
I agree with @mfisher911 (and have long desired!) that this link actually take you directly here:
https://releases.1password.com/mac/beta/#whats-new
Or even more specifically, to the installed build's release notes:
https://releases.1password.com/mac/beta/#1password-for-mac-8.5.0-83

Hello @Chris Messina ! This fix went in today so the next Nightly build should contain the correct URL for the
what is new
menu. Please let us know if you run into any trouble when you try it out tomorrow.
Thanks so much for the feedback!

@ag_maryam this is still broken in 80500110 (on NIGHTLY channel).
Opening the What's New link goes here, without an anchor the changelog:

Hey @Chris Messina:
Sorry for the regression here. I'll make sure our development team is notified so we can get this fixed up. Thanks for all of your feedback here as we strive to make 1Password the best it can be!

This is still broken in 1Password for Mac 8.5.0 80500127, on NIGHTLY channel.

Yep; I'm still seeing it too. As Jack alluded the issue has been re-opened for another look, though I can't promise when that'll happen.

I understand — @ag_maryam said that the fix went in on Jan 19, so I'm just reporting the regression.

Sorry that wasn't more clear @Chris Messina . As my colleague Ben mentioned the change made on January 19th only applies to stable and beta releases, as those are the only ones that have release notes. We're looking at how to best handle nightlies in this regard going forward.

@Ben @ag_maryam ah — gotcha. Sort of makes sense; though I would think that the nightly would just link to the beta release notes — since nightlies are really bleeding edge, and I wouldn't expect all of those experimental changes to necessarily be documented.
FWIW, I only switched to the nightly builds because copy-paste had been broken, so if it's fixed in the beta builds, perhaps I'll switch back.

@Chris Messina Good news, the copy/paste is fixed in latest beta. Please let us know if you run into any trouble when you try it out.
