Tagging from search results. Impossible to drag-and-drop?

Now that categories have been relegatded to a mere dropdown, for me tags become more important.

It appears thart "batch taggin" from a search is impossible. I cannot drag entries from a search rults list into tags in the tag sidebar. But from the default list it does work.

Is that expected behaviour?
