Feedback on pains of having app installed in addition to browser extension

I recently added 1password for my business. I never had the 1password app installed on my computer (Windows 10). Instead, I had used the browser extension exclusively. But, because I wanted to move hundreds of logins from my personal account to my work account, I installed the app; moving the logins from my personal account to my work account was a very nice and smooth experience - thank you!

But, after that, I feel that I have no use for the app; After having the Windows app installed for a week, I've uninstalled it because the browser extension for every day use is a much better user experience. 2 issues:

  1. When I am in my browser (where I spend most of my time) and press ctrl period to unlock the browser extension, I used to be able to just start typing my master password. Since I've installed the app, I can't; I need to click a button that says Open 1password; then it opens the app and I can start typing my password. Really slows things down.

  2. I can no longer access my vaults / account from the browser extension. Previously, I could click edit on any item in the extension menu and it would take me to my account in the browser, where I could access my vaults and my account (where I could make certain changes that I can't make in the app, like editing a vault name). But now, I can't. If i click to edit a login from the extension, it opens the edit form in the Windows app. To access my account in the browser, I need to go to 1password.com and login again even if I am already logged into the app and the browser extension.

In short, having both the app and extension installed has been a worse experience than having just the extension installed.

These items might sound small and nitpicky, but I use 1password constantly throughout the day, and these things noticeably slow me down; I previously really enjoyed using 1password. Since I installed the app, much less so.
