[Linux][apt] Getting offered a NIGHTLY build on BETA repository
Today I noticed that the update of 1password on the BETA repository https://downloads.1password.com/linux/debian/amd64 is a NIGHTLY build (or at least, that is what the version name says):
$ apt list --upgradeable -a Listing... Done 1password/beta 8.6.0~27.NIGHTLY amd64 [upgradable from: 8.6.0~6.BETA] 1password/now 8.6.0~6.BETA amd64 [installed,upgradable to: 8.6.0~27.NIGHTLY] $ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/1password.list deb [arch=amd64 signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/1password-archive-keyring.gpg] https://downloads.1password.com/linux/debian/amd64 beta main
I'm fine with running beta builds, but rather stay away from nightly builds.
Best regards,
Paul
1Password Version: 8.6.0-6.BETA

I have reverted to using the stable build for now to avoid getting NIGHTLY builds installed (with all risks involved with that).

Hi @lieverse,
Sorry about this inconvenience, and thanks for reaching out. You should now be able to switch back to the
beta
channel when ready. This has been fixed. It was caused by the same bug as https://1password.community/discussion/127201/linux-error-in-apt-update#latest.James Dressel
