4 years agoWindows 10 error "Unable to complete installation"
New corporate laptop with Windows 10 on it. Trying to install 1Password 8 and get error dialog saying it couldn't complete installation and was rolling back changes. Where can I find log which will tell me what it failed?

@gregJe - I'm happy to hear this was resolved after disabling McAfee.
If you have troubles in the future with 1Password installations or updates, you can exclude the entire 1Password folder and the
1Password.exein McAfee, then reboot your device. The 1Password directory can be found here -%localappdata%\1Passwordand the1Password.exeis here:%localappdata%\1Password\App\8.Thanks for your reply!

I had this issue as well. I disabled everything in McAfee Endpoint security and re-ran the install. It worked.

well, I seemed ok but now 1Password is trying to update 8.7.2 to 8.7.3 and failing with the same error messages as previously. will email logs to support address....
