Hi. Here are the relevant logs from the installer (and the only ERROR):

[2022-02-21 10:14:44.545039 +01:00] INFO [op_windows_starter::installer] op-windows-starter\src\installer.rs:483: Updating from 80500121 to 80500121
...
[2022-02-21 10:14:46.314969 +01:00] INFO [op_windows_starter::transaction] op-windows-starter\src\transaction.rs:170: renaming C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\1Password\update to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\1Password\app
[2022-02-21 10:14:46.809517 +01:00] ERROR [op_windows_starter::installer] op-windows-starter\src\installer.rs:156: failed to move app files. Error: Io(PermissionDenied)

Note: noticed that the update source version 80500121 was the same as the target version 80500121. In the oldest log, this same day, the versions were:

[2022-02-21 10:04:00.134696 +01:00] INFO [op_windows_starter::installer] op-windows-starter\src\installer.rs:483: Updating from 80401002 to 80500121

It seems that this first update from 80401002 to 80500121 having failed, 1Password then tries to update from 80500121 to 80500121...

Windows version:

Platform ServicePack Version      VersionString
-------- ----------- -------      -------------
 Win32NT             10.0.19044.0 Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.19044.0

1Password UI displays (in french):

---------------------------
1Password
---------------------------
1Password n'a pas pu terminer l'installation et annulera toutes les modifications.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

The executable file 1Password.exe under %APPDATA%/Local/1Password/app/8 has file version 8.4.1.25733 and product version 8.4.1.91269.
