Request - Sort by URL instead of title
I really like the way Chrome organizes your passwords, by using the root url of the website. Meaning, accounts.google.com, mail.google.com, and docs.google.com will all be alphabetized together, because the root url (google.com) is the same. Would it be possible to implement this in 1Password? Thanks.

Hi @seanmcnally, thanks for this question!
I might need to learn a little more about what you have in mind to answer fully. Can you let me know a little more about how you'd like to see passwords organized?
Currently, 1Password does recognize sub-domains, so you can create a single login item for
google.com
, for example, and 1Password will offer to auto-fill it for you when visit mail.google.com, maps.google.com, accounts.google.com, and so on. Is that helpful for your purposes? And if you can think of a way this could be better done, we're always open to hearing from you, and act on customer feedback often. I'm looking forward to the discussion!

Thanks for the response! What I'm referring to is the list of items as seen when scrolling through your vault, sorted alphabetically by title. Accounts.google.com is filed under A, while mail.google.com is filed under M. It would be nice to see them organized together since they're both google.com addresses.
Perhaps an extra option - sort by "URL" rather than "Title" could be implemented in the sort menu. This would be especially useful for websites like Slack, where organizations each have their own subdomain (e.g. organization1.slack.com and workcompany.slack.com would be far apart with the current alphabetization method)

Hey @seanmcnally:
Thanks for following up! While I can't promise anything, I've shared your thoughts on adding an additional sort option with the team. 😀
