Markdown code blocks inconsistent display between iOS, Mac & Browser

The monospace font used in Markdown formatted code blocks (text surrounded by 3 back ticks) is inconsistent between the desktop app, browser extension and iOS app.

On iOS and the browser extension it uses an easy-to-read sans-serif typeface:

However, in the 1Password 8 desktop application, it uses a less legible, serif face (looks like default Courier)

Also, text formatted as an inline code block (surrounded by a single back tick) still only displays on iOS. In the above screenshots, the words inline code block should be in the monospace code font.

  • Hi @snozdop:

Thanks for letting us know about this. The inline code block text is something that we're aware of, and I've added your thoughts to our internal issue on it.

As for the font choices, I've shared your feedback internally with the team.
