Update progress bar size very big on ultrawide monitor

This is probably of minor importance, but I noticed it. If the 1Password desktop app is updated, and you have a ultrawide monitor (for example one of those nice new 32:9 aspect ratio 49" monitors), the progress bar that is displayed while 1Password is updating itself, is rather wide. It seems it hasn't a fixed width but 1/3 or 1/4 of the screen width, which scales strangely on such a monitor.

  • Hey, @Tertius3. Thanks for the report! Could you include a screenshot of what you're seeing the next time it happens? I don't see a progress bar when 1Password is updating itself, but I'm probably looking in the wrong spot.

    It looks like this:

(you should probably open that image fullscreen in a somewhat wider monitor, otherwise you wouldn't realize the dimensions. As thumbnail in the forum it's rather not visible very much. Use the Windows task bar at the bottom to get the scale)

    Hi @Tertius3,

Thanks, I was able to reproduce this on a larger screen, we'll get this fixed for you.

1Password just updated to the most recent nightly, and the update progress bar is now well sized. Thanks for a fix for a component that is visible for about 3 seconds on updates only ;)

  • @Tertius3, you're welcome, it's all because you've reported this to us. So, thank you again.
