Watchtower differences between v7 and v8: unsecured websites
Why does the v8 Watchtower show fewer unsecured websites in my 1P vault than the watchtower in v7?
1p8 show that there's just one unsecured website, but v7 show that there's more than 100 of them. And all the logins that v7 is warning about certainly exist in v8 as well – I can see them, they really have http URL, but no warning in the Watchtower.
The Web version shows them all. I never ignored them deliberately.

Great question, @antonme! I'm seeing the same thing, except I have 6 and 2, respectively. I looked at the code and I think I found the reason. We're using a local database to determine whether the website is known to support HTTPS, and if not, we don't show the banner. This reduces the number of cases where you have to ignore the warning because the site doesn't support HTTPS, but I'm sure there are also false negatives for sites do support HTTPS but we don't know it.
If there are sites in the list in version 7 that do support HTTPS but are not listed as unsecured in version 8, could you let us know? If you'd like to take the conversation to email, that's fine too. Email us at support@1password.com and just include a link to this forum thread so we can connect the dots.
