1Password running in a VirtualBox guest doesn't lock when the host goes to sleep mode

I am running 1Password inside a VirtualBox Mint 20.2 machine on a Windows 10 host to circumvent problems with the shared clipboard. The workspace doesn't lock automatically when I put the host machine to sleep, which can present a security risk. IMHO, the "system idle" condition should be met and the workspace locked when waking the host up after 7 hours.
