[MAC] Software license attachments moved or deleted

I've just been tidying up my Software Licenses in 1PW 8, and noticed that all the items that had files attached are now showing the following:

Is this to be expected going from 1Password 7 to 1Password 8? Fortunately I still have the original license files saved elsewhere so I have just been adding them back manually, but thought I'd ask in case it is a bug.

Although I've been using 1PW 8 since the first Early Access release, I've only just noticed this, so can't say when it first occurred.

The missing items seem to be stored separately in the Documents category, but attempting to use the Link to a related item option on the Software License item doesn't work. The Document item doesn't appear in the list of items to choose from.

Hey @snozdop:

Are both the Software License and the Document item in the same vault? Links to related items can't cross across vaults, so for example if your Software License item is in your Private vault, you'll only be able to link items that are also in the Private vault. Let me know, and if you are trying to link the related item in the same vault, I'll be happy to dig into it further with you!

Ah, that probably explains it. In the process of tidying up my Software Licenses I moved them into a separate vault of their own. Would that have caused them to lose the attachment? There was no warning that it would.

Hi @snozdop:

That would definitely make sense then. If both the Document and the Software License are in the same vault, are you able to link them as expected? Additionally, you can attach the license file itself to the Software License item, rather than creating a separate item.
