Autofill in Windows and Android
I'm running 1Password v8.6.1 on Windows 11 and v7.9.2 on my Android phone. I continue to have trouble getting autofill to work on my apps on both platforms, and also in the browser (Edge) on both as well. I often have to open the 1P app and copy the password I need and paste it manually into the app or web page. Can someone direct me to a document that explains how to use autofill with these new versions of 1P for both platforms?
I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.
1Password Version: 8.6.1
Extension Version: 2.3.2
OS Version: Windows 11, Android 12

Hi @JWadle47 !
If you want to autofill data on websites, you should use 1Password in the browser extension. To get used to this extension, you could read here:
https://support.1password.com/getting-started-browser/You could use the browser extension to autofill data in Windows apps, too. But a better way is to use Quick Access here. In Quick Access, you are able to search for credentials and copy & paste them into your Windows apps. You could also use drag & drop to "move" the credentials into the matching fields in your apps. Here you find more details:
https://support.1password.com/quick-access/I'm not using an Android device, so I'm not familiar with the functionality here. But there are also some documents like the following:
https://support.1password.com/getting-started-android/
https://support.1password.com/android-filling/Much more of these documents you can find here:
https://support.1password.comI know it is a lot of stuff to read, but it helps. 😉👍

Hey @JWadle47:
@DenalB covered pretty much everything I would have said (thanks for the assist 😎)!
Filling in your browser would be with 1Password in your browser: Get started with 1Password in your browser
Filling on your Android device would use the 1Password app and enabling Autofill: Use 1Password to fill and save in apps and browsers on your Android device
Let me know how you get on with that!
