1Password 8 for iOS & iPadOS Beta 📱

I've been waiting for the day that I can post this here: 1Password 8 for iOS is now in Early Access and ready for testers! 🎉
All of us at 1Password, really, have been waiting for this day. We were so excited when we built 1Password Core to power our apps going forward, giving them a modern, secure foundation that we could then use to build OS-specific features and goodies into.
And then we released 1Password 8 for Linux and Windows – and Mac in beta – and it was incredibly satisfying to see those out in the wild.
But nothing is as personal as these little rectangles in our pockets, so we knew we had a chance to make something that really feels both uniquely you and uniquely 1Password. There's some really cool stuff here: a customizable home screen, full Watchtower support, and...well, I'll just let you see for yourself. 😉
Keep in mind this is a beta so it should be used for testing and validation purposes only and is not suitable for business critical environments. For a stable experience on mobile, continue to use 1Password 7 for now.
Setup instructions
Start by signing up for the beta through TestFlight:
When you get to the welcome screen, sign in to your 1Password account. If you are not yet subscribed to 1Password.com (or .ca🇨🇦 / .eu🇪🇺) see Setting up a new 1Password.com account for details on creating an account and migrating over your data.
You'll also want to enable the 1Password extension in Safari:
We'd love to hear about your experiences with this version as we work toward a stable release. Please feel free to start a new thread or contribute to an existing one.
Bits and bobs
- 1Password 8 works great on iOS 15.1 and higher
- This release is compatible with all of our existing apps. You're welcome to use 1Password 8 on your iPhone or iPad alongside 1Password 7 on your other devices.
