why doesn't 1Password automatically add user id's and passwords to all url?
When using 1Password to log into the URL's that I have set up in 1Password; when I try to access some URL's, 1Password will AUTOMATICALLY enter both my user id and password for that web site, but other web sites I have to copy and paste my user id and password. WhY?

Hi @foghorn1
I'm sorry for the trouble you're experiencing here. I can definitely understand the annoyance when autofilling works on some sites, and not on others (as I've experienced this myself). I'm here to help however I can.
There are quite a few different things that contribute to why 1Password would autofill correctly on one website, and not on another. Essentially, 1Password relies on contextual clues in a given website's page structure in order to autofill login information. If we don't have enough clues, or the right ones, there can be trouble. Our development team is constantly updating 1Password to improve the behaviour on the sites that give us trouble.
As far as your issues are concerned, could you share the websites that aren't working correctly? I'd be happy to dig into them a bit deeper on my end and provide some advice on how best to use 1Password, and forward the details to our dev team here if needed.
Look forward to hearing back!

There are quite a few websites that are NOT automatically updated with user names and passwords. I have to copy and past the user id's and passwords from my specific 1Password set up pages. Will it really make a difference if I list all the web sites for you? Most of them are credit card web sites. Please respond. Thank you. foghorn1`

It is annoying! autofill doesn't work well in both browser extension and android mobile app. I've encounter a lot of websites that 1password's autofill doesn't fill user/login name. Please make this priority and improve autofill function.

@foghorn1 Thanks for the update. We are always working to improve the autofill behaviour in 1Password with each update. Feedback from our users, such as yourself, is really helpful in bringing these problematic websites to the attention of our dev team.
If you want to let me know which sites, specifically, are giving you trouble I'd be glad to look into them, and raise an internal issue. Also, I'll try to provide any viable workarounds to make autofilling in the mean time a little less painful for you.

@rzzz Thanks for your feedback! The site you've shared is one we've previously reported to our dev team. There is a fix in the beta version of the browser extension already, so we should see that in the stable release soon. If you want a sneak peak, you can check out the beta version of the browser extension. Here's the link -> 1Password Beta – Password Manager - Chrome Web Store
