New Login on a form page does nothing in Safari
The last several times I've attempted to save a web form, "New Login" from the 1Password menu in Safari's toolbar (or the macOS menu bar) does nothing. Now that I'm running the latest versions of Safari (15.4), 1Password and macOS, I decided it was time to ask for help.
Here's the Zoom webinar registration form I'm trying to save:
https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/2016493680296/WN_afvwsHReR82Ffu2XcIcDFQ
I don't know about my earlier failures, but in this case I have an existing 1Password Login for an earlier Zoom webinar (created on 24 Mar 21, last modified on 5 Jan 22). That Login fills in some fields, but not others. I expected my "New Login" request to offer to create a new Login or update the existing Login.
As a test, I tried "New Login" in Firefox, and it works as expected.
1Password Version: 7.9.4
Extension Version: 7.9.4
OS Version: macOS Monterey 12.3.1

I just reproduced this "does nothing" problem on my old MacBook Pro, which can't be updated past High Sierra 10.13.6 (with Safari 13.1.3, 1Password 7.9.4, and 1Password Extension 7.9.4).

Hi @Ward, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. It looks like the form that you shared is no longer active. However, if that form has username and password fields, then you can type your information into those fields and click on Save in 1Password to store that to your vault. Here's a quick and helpful guide: https://support.1password.com/getting-started-safari-mac/#save-a-login
Clicking on New Item > Login would send you to the app or your account at 1Password.com with a new login template, which you would then have to fill out. It's not the best way to create a login or to update one. However, if nothing is indeed happening when you make that selection, then we can look into it a bit further. Could you create a video of the behavior and share it with us?
As a note, there's not a way to attach a video directly to your reply. However, you can link to it, or you can email the video to us at support+forum@1Password.com.
With your email please include:

Hi @Joy_1P,
This time I'm the one with the long delay ... prompted by another failure to save the details of a free, multi-field Zoom webinar ("Work Transformation Summit" on July 13) registration form:
https://events.zoom.us/e/conference/view/L7eV35MeQf-JHhlxX-zmIw/purchase
There's no "Save in 1Password" offered because this form has no username & password fields. Creating a video doesn't seem worth it because nothing at all happens when I (1) click the 1Password button in Safari's toolbar (or the macOS menubar), (2) click 1Password's gear button, and (3) select "New Login" from the popup menu.
I tried creating a "New Login" in Firefox. In the case, 1Password did popup the dialog asking for a Vault, Title and Tags ... but only the Title was saved in the new entry.
