App freezes when editing large secure note

When editing a large secure note (in my case, a note with ~450k characters), 1Password freezes while typing.

As you enter text, the app doesn't update its display at all (you don't see the characters you just typed), but it does dutifully listen to all the keyboard events. Once you stop typing, after a pause, it suddenly updates the view with what you just typed. The pause ranges from seconds, to a few dozen seconds, depending on how much you typed. This is on a M1 Pro MacBook.
