Separate tool to track bug progress

I’ve thought of this for a while since signing up to 1Password.

There is no easy to way to monitor the progress of reported bugs from a user perspective. Whether that be checking a bug you’ve reported, or a bug you’re thinking of reporting.

I know tools such as trello can work well, where you could put a link at the top of each forum folder. That way people can easily track a reported bug to see if there’s a fix in the works, fix is completed but awaiting the next software update, or simply it’s known issue that’s being tracked.

I guess internally you have something to track all this. It would be great if forum members had some sight of this, in my opinion of course.

    @chris55,

    The release notes will have references to any bug numbers a staff member indicates in your communication with them. But yes, it is true that there is no way to track it beyond the release notes. We do not have a public bug tracker so I would recommend reporting anything you're thinking about reporting, it will get triaged into the appropriate issue and/or marked as a duplicate.
