How to turn off auto-lock?

I've been using LastPass for about 12 years and thought I'd check out 1Password since my annual renewal is coming up. I like 1P a little better than LastPass but one annoyance is that every time I open Chrome I have to type in my master password. With LastPass, I just set it to remember my password and once a month I enter the 2FA code to reauthorize the laptop. Is there a way to make 1P not make me enter the password every time I open the browser? I have already turned off the "auto lock" setting in the extension.

I'm aware there's a security concern here but I don't care.

  • Hi @gfunkdave:

Thanks for giving us a try! Just to confirm, have you installed 1Password for Windows as well?

1Password in the browser is able to integrate with 1Password for Windows and share a lock state, but if the desktop app isn't installed, you'll have to enter your account password every time you close and reopen your browser.

    Let me know!
