Two week password timer

Thanks for the update @Jack.P_1P.
Not to go too much off topic here (break this out into another thread if necessary) but that 2-week interval isn't mentioned anywhere for the Windows version.
- It's not mentioned under Settings > Advanced where you enable the TPM option.
- It's not listed in the support documentation for Windows Hello.
- It's not mentioned in the release notes for 8.4.
- It's not mentioned in the blog post about 8.6.
In the blog posts it sounds as if you'd never have to enter your account password ever again. On iOS the 2-week interval is made clear directly under the Face ID option under Settings > Security. So from the list above, I think it would be appropriate to update at least the settings menu on the Windows version as well as the support documentation with another bullet point about the 2-week interval.
This might also explain why I had to use my password on my work laptop (with the TPM option configured) after a reboot caused by a Windows update. I created a support ticket about that and got a reply that in certain scenarios for reboots in conjunction with certain Windows updates or BIOS updates or similar, you might get prompted for the password as well.
Getting back to this topic, I appreciate you taking the "after device restart" suggestion up for discussion, and the solution proposed about "2 weeks after you entered your account password on any device" sounds like a great option as well.

Hi @Backspaze:
1Password does display a notification when the password is required after two weeks when locked:
With that said, I can definitely see that it would be helpful to more explicitly call this out, so I'll bring this up to the team.
I've also split your specific post off into the Windows section. 😁

@Jack.P_1P Ah, I've yet to run into that notification on any of my devices so I wasn't aware of it. But yeah, since the two week timer is explicitly stated under the Face ID option on iOS, it would be more consistent to show the same info in the Windows app, either under Security > Unlock using Windows Helllo or Advanced > Use the Trusted Platform Module with Windows Hello or under both sections.
On my desktop I'm running the nightly version, and since I haven't got a TPM on that device I have to enter my password at least once a day because of the frequent updates. As this is getting pretty annoying, I'll probably switch back to beta or production soon, now that the features I was after has been released to production. My work laptop and personal laptop both have TPM, but I've yet to see that notification on any of them, probably because the two week timer has been reset by other password prompts caused by specific Windows updates, as mentioned in the original post.
But, now that I'm fully aware that the two week timer is present on all of the platforms, the "2 weeks after you entered your account password on any device" option is sounding more and more like the best way forward. Sure, it would mean that you could end up having to enter the password on a phone while you're in a rush, but it's far better than my current scenario where I have four devices which could end up triggering the two week timer on the same day, or one day after another.
I'm also thinking my suggestion for reinstating the "after device restart" option doesn't even really makes sense anymore if it's going to be enabled in conjunction with the two week timer, as you could end up entering your password because of the two week timer triggering, only to perform a reboot a moment later for whatever reason, and have to enter the password yet again after that.

Hey @Backspaze:
Indeed! I'll share your feedback with the team as we work to make 1Password the best it can be.
