Online synchronization button

Hello,
Could you integrate a synchronization button in the MAC & Windows application, so that we can see if our passwords are well synchronized between devices.

Example :
I have registered a login from the browser but when I open the application on my windows, the password I registered from the browser is not yet imported.

And I have no way to know if it is well synchronized or not

Hello @castomeas, thanks for your message and this request. Can you provide some more specifics about how you would like to see this work?

In the meantime, syncing should happen automatically and almost instantaneously across all platforms no matter where a new login was registered. Opening and unlocking the app forces a sync and pull that new login from 1Password.com (or .ca/.eu).

Has that new login since synced? If not, you maybe experiencing some other difficulties with 1Password 8 for Windows app connecting properly to 1Password and a diagnostics report sent to us via support+windows@1Password.com can us help to investigate? Please do not post your these details in the forums. If you can also include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle, we can "connect the dots" when we see your report in our inbox. Thanks!

Thanks @castomeas. I've been advocating for a similar thing, and our design team has some initial ideas on it. Hopefully we can get something like that in the app in the future.

Now you have to wait then, on the "Authenticator" application it's very well integrated, strongly that you do it too 👌🏽

+1 for this. Add on to this request. Perhaps an amendment state counter (0-1000 maybe) could be added as you update your account. If the most updated version is count 55 and you updated your vaults with an item on your iPhone, the item count would increase to 56 on your iPhone. If your Mac or 1password.com is still showing 55, you can easily identify the device where an issue is occurring.

(We do this in our workplace with digital documents so you know procedures you’re using/ following are the correct and up to date versions)

A traditional item count next to the items in the sidebar like in all previous 1Password versions might help as well.
