unable to set up new windows 11 pc due to 2FA/MFA problem

Hi, I'm trying to set up 1pw on Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 Win11. Prompted for 2FA/MFA. Can't fulfill either method (codes or hardware key; new pc/win11/1pw doesn't recognize hardware key even though I see the dots indicating that the key is providing and pc/win11/1pw is receiving). I get locked into infinite loop prompting entry of hardware key. I think exact message is something like hardware key not recognized.

    Actually, requester is Windows Security (1password.com). Message is "Can't read your security key. Please try again."

    Do not see anywhere in old pc 1password to specify/reset 2FA/MFA including security key.
