How Do I Configure 1Password to Work on EFTPS.GOV?
How do I configure 1Password to work on eftps.gov? The site has four fields that need to be filled in before you can click LOGIN.
You need to enter your Federal Tax ID# in two parts, i.e. XX XXXXXXX
Then your PIN #: XXXX
Then your password, i.e.: I_Resent_Success!
Here is a screen grab of what I'm discussing.

When I was using LastPass it would fill-in both parts of the Federal Tax ID with my tax ID. I would then need to go into the first field and remove every digit after the first two digits. Then I would go into the second field and remove the first two digits.
LastPass would also fill-in my password in both the PIN field and the password field. I would have to go in and delete the password from the PIN field and manually enter it (it's a four digit number.)
After making these alterations I was able to click the Login button and access the website.
Is it possible to automate this process with 1Password?
1Password Version: 8.6.1
Extension Version: 2.3.3
OS Version: Windows 10

Hey @PowrPassword! Thanks for reaching out to us here. 🙂
This site sure is a doozy. I can certainly understand the desire to automate this login. I've done some testing, and I was able to create a custom template that you can use to autofill the page.
Here is a link to the 1Password login item template I created -> https://share.1password.com/s#dDH-MY9FS7nJT5U9elESTXpuoxeDhZ8Pv9QhoPj4BuE
When you click that link you should see a page that says 'Someone shared an item with you on 1Password'. Then click the 'Save in 1Password' button at the bottom. From there, you can edit the item in your 1Password app and fill in your details in the places I've designated:
Once you've got all your info filled in, save the item, and fill the page with either of these two methods:
- Click the 'Internet Password' field and select your login from the inline menu.
- Left click the 1Password icon in your browser while you're on that page, and click 'Autofill' on the login item.
I hope this helps. Cheers!

If you are accessing a PERSONAL account with your Social Security Number the template must be modified to:
(Make sure to enter your own PIN number...)TESTED and VERIFIED with my own credentials

@PowrPassword You're most welcome!
Hey @lysander - Thanks for providing some enhancements to that when using the login for a Personal account with an SSN #. It is supremely helpful! Cheers 🙂

No problem. It is a narly login screen and your initial template was most helpful in setting up the personal account version.
I had to look at the page html to get the field names.0
