A Couple of Minor Bugs I've Noticed in 1Password 8 Beta for Mac
Hi all,
I've noticed a couple of minor bugs in the 1Password 8 for Mac beta client and the Safari extension.
1. When the client launches in full screen, the Touch ID prompt is out of focus, necessitating an extra client before being able to authenticate with Touch ID. For example:
2. Our organization uses the Mosyle MDM service for our Mac machines. When you send a command to any number of machines, the portal makes you type your password to confirm sending the command, but 1Password doesn't recognize this correctly and offers to create a new password for the website. Here's the example I see; I didn't censor the suggested password, because I didn't use it:
1Password Version: 8.7.0 (80700095) Beta
Extension Version: 2.3.3
OS Version: macOS 12.3.1

Hey, @nhubbard. Thanks for the feedback!

Does this happen every time for you? I'm not able to reproduce the issue myself in 80800004. Launching the app directly into fullscreen mode still gives focus to the Touch ID prompt. Hmm, well while testing, I updated to 80800007 and now it's happening every time for me. Weird, given you were on an older version. I'll pass this on to the team.

This is going to be an issue with 1Password in the Browser, not the Mac app, but if you can follow the steps below, we'll take a look:
- Open that screen again where you get the prompt to create a new password.
- Right-click anywhere on the page and select 1Password -> Help -> Collect Page Structure, and a .json file will be saved to your downloads folder.
- Send the file to support+x@1password.com with a link to this discussion.
Thanks!
