When I unlock 1Password (in browser or desktop app) a new browser window open with 1Password.

Hi 1Password,

Why does a new 1Password browser-tab always open when I unlock 1Password? This happens when I unlock 1Password in my browser, or on the Windows desktop app.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're running into, something certainly doesn't sound quite right with this behaviour. I'm happy to dig further to try and figure out what might be going on.

Hey Paul! I’m using Edge. And all I’m doing is clicking on 1P (either browser extension or desktop app) and filling in my password. I’ll then be signed in to 1P correctly, but also a new browser tab will open. This new browser tab is of 1P as well, asking me to login with all details incl security key. Completing this screen does not prevent it from opening next time. If it’s useful to send a quick screen recording your way, let me know!
